Welcome
Welcome to Faltering Call. For years, the four packs have been at peace- Luft, Arlen, Kirest and Roran, all under the watch of the pack in the stars, Sterren. But, the connection between the packs and Sterren Pack has weakened until it was cut off alltogether. The wolves panicked, as they were completely on their own. Had Sterren abandoned them? Why must they have such punishments? At the same time, a new pack has joined the first four- Anima. Some wolves consider this a test, while others consider it a bad omen. The packs are not happy that this newer pack has upset the original balance, but have to live with the choice that was made. Will Anima take over the other packs, as many have foretold, or will they find themselves on the packs' good side?

Welcome to Faltering Call- Can you Survive the Call?

Year One-Winter---
The weather is frightfully chilly outside, and with it the prey decide that it's not the best idea to stay around. The birds have flown south and some animals are hibernating. In this cold, I'd want to hibernate too. Be thankful for your warm fur coat and the little prey that is left.
Food- Low, but in warmer places medium.

Set in a new forest, many seasons after Firestar and his time, life is good. The clans go through the normal routine of life and tensions are at an all time low. Border patrols chat like old friends, Gatherings are peaceful and light-hearted, and every clan seems to know just which cats will be apprenticed next in the neighboring clans.. That is.. until one particular Gathering.

The three clans were all about to depart when three cats covered in mud, with their scents hidden, yowled and called attention to themselves. They threatened war and the spilling of blood if things didn't change in the forest. When asked who was responsible for such threats, they replied: StarClan. Before anyone had a chance to ask anything else, they dissapeared.

Clan life went on as normal, and the three clans became even close as they promised to bond and drive out the threat. Nothing happened for a while, but the next moon, the queens in every clan were killed. The next moon, the same thing happened. With no unusual scents or signs of intruders, the cats finally realized, there was someone within the clans responsible. How else would they know which cats were soon-to-be queens? Suddenly every clan was against each other. Surely cats within their own clan wouldn't do such a cruel thing? It had to be other clans; or so they said.

With the next moon coming up, the clans have managed to protect a few cats from the attacks. It is half moon, and the medicine cats hope to finally get a sign from StarClan, though many cats know doubt their ancestors exist. After all, they had been silent for so long and the attacks had happened twice already.

With queens being silently killed in the dead of night, and StarClan no where to be found, it seems the thought future generations of clan warriors is impossible.. It seems no one can save them.. so..

Is it really worth it?
dying pursuit.

Okay, so medicine cats are definately needed for the medicine cat meeting, as there will be a prophecy and whatnot. ^^ Also, if you are interested in a plot position, aka the mud cats, feel free to PM me

The point of this? Well with no queens, there are no kits being born, meaning there will be no future warriors. What are the clans going to do when the entire clan is old and weak, and eventually the living cats die out?

No more clans.
